Our Location
Located conveniently on Boston Post Road in Madison, Connecticut, our guests are just a short bike or car ride from beaches, amazing restaurants, wineries, and shopping. Madison is a quintessential New England Village that was established in 1862. Guests visiting from New York City or Boston love the charm of Madison and the convenient location on the Amtrak rail line.

Few things in life are more relaxing than listening to your favorite music. At The Homestead, each room is equipped with a vintage-style record player. Prior to your arrival let us know your favorite artists and genre and we will have corresponding LP's from our collection awaiting your arrival! We are definitely music lovers at The Homestead. We also have a variety of musical instruments in our common areas just waiting for our guests! Whether your passion is tickling the ivories or strumming the day away on guitar, we've got you covered.
Outdoor Areas
A small selection of our guestrooms feature private outside areas. However, The Homestead also offers larger common patios with fire pits and outdoor heaters. Our extensive grounds offer out-of-the-way spots for an afternoon picnic or evening glass of wine. Throughout the outdoor areas, you may notice some of our other VIP guests including deer, bunnies, and a variety of birds.
Handheld Spa Effect Shower heads
Enjoy a luxury shower with our spa effect handheld shower heads. The filter infuses Vitamin C & E into the water, both known to strengthen hair and nails and make skin softer. The shower head also removes chlorine and fluoride from water along with other heavy metals and sediment. So turn up the temperature and sing your heart out with a hot shower and wash your cares away.
In-Room Bottled Water by Pathwater
Our complimentary in-room bottles of water are reusable, recyclable, and ecofriendly. Pathwater Bottles are BPA-free and constructed of Aluminum instead of plastic. Best of all the bottles are 100% produced in the United States.

Ditch the car or arrive by train! Our beach cruiser bicycles are a great way to get around Madison. For the adventurous folks and those who work better as a team be sure to give our tandem bike a spin.
